    Family reunion.

    Sunday, February 25, 2007, 04:24 PM [General]

Strange thing happened yesterday while I was at my local boring family reunion. When I went to the toilet, inside the actual "bowl" there was a small frog. Now what I do know is that many frogs are endangered so this was a strange occurrence. I haven't seen a frog since I was a little kid. It was weird but also fascinating.

I think one of the most important things I learnt yesterday was that life just is. The cycles of nature will always continue even after I pass over and I felt somewhat overwhelmed by the fact I'm just a small molecule in the grand scheme.

It was beautiful and I finally have a new wand/staff that I found. Its a willow stick that was attached to a dead tree. I said a little prayer of remembrance and gratitude.

Yesterday, I honestly felt more connected to nature than I have in a long while.

A beautiful story (I hope you helped the frog!) - hope your week is just as magnificent.

It sounds like you ended up having a great day. Family reunions are boring. My mom always brings wine to make them more tolerable! I love my Mom!!! Have a great evening.

I sometimes get little green tree frogs in my house. They are so cute! But then I live in the country and wildlife is all around us here.

That connected with nature feeling is nice, isn't it?

I did not realize frogs are endangered in Australia. What an interesting experience!
I love days like that, where everything seems to work out just right, and you feel that deep connection.
